What an inspection is
An InspectedCars.ae inspection is a structured, visual and functional assessment of a vehicle carried out by our own technician against a versioned checklist, at one moment in time and in the conditions available at the inspection location.
The report records what the technician observed and documented with photographs. It is evidence about condition — not a valuation, not a warranty, and not a guarantee of future reliability.
What is not included
The inspection is non-invasive. It does not include dismantling the engine, gearbox or interior trim, removing undertrays or panels, road-testing beyond the agreed short drive where one is possible, pressure-testing sealed systems, or laboratory analysis of fluids.
Faults that are intermittent, only appear at operating temperatures or speeds outside the inspection, are hidden behind previous repairs, or that develop after the inspection date cannot be detected and are outside the report.
We do not verify legal title, outstanding finance, fines, insurance history or registration status unless a specific check is explicitly listed in the report.
Conditions affect findings
Lighting, weather, dirt, recent washing, tinting, aftermarket parts and limited access at the inspection site can all restrict what is visible. Where access is restricted, the report says so instead of assuming a result.
AI-assisted sections
Summaries, condition scoring and repair-cost ranges labelled “AI-assisted” are generated from the recorded evidence to help you read the report. They are indicative, may be incomplete, and never override the technician's recorded findings or a qualified workshop quotation.
Independence
Technicians are employed by InspectedCars.ae and are not paid on the outcome of a sale. We do not buy the vehicles we inspect and we do not take a commission on a sale. A report is not changed to suit a seller, a buyer or a dealer.
How to use a report
Treat the report as one input in your decision. For anything safety-related, mechanically significant or costly, obtain a quotation or second opinion from a qualified workshop before you buy. Verify any report you are shown by its reference number on the verification page.
